The Tulsa Preservation Commission is updating their documentation on Historic Preservation Overlay Zoning Districts by creating a “Unified Design Guidelines” document.  This document will not change the restrictions in any given area but seeks to create a common language for all of Tulsa’s HP zoning districts.  Each district will maintain their current unique elements.  The document will include many clarifications and examples that support the preservation goals and avoid uncertainty.

Residents of North Maple Ridge (current HP zoning district) and Sunset Park (proposed HP zoning district) are invited to attend a special meeting with members of the Tulsa Preservation Commission.  Ed Sharrar and Amada DeCort will review the new guidelines document and the ongoing process behind it.  They are seeking input to ensure our needs are being met.
